â Description
Optimizer are vaults similar to what you'll find on any yield aggregator. They are vaults where users can deposit their assets to earn a yield generated on strategies that follow opportunities presented across different DeFi protocols. After depositing, the smart contract puts those assets to work by executing the selected strategy for the particular vault the user deposited funds on.
Through this, users get an optimized automated yield out of their positions without having to do all the heavy lifting that includes research, understanding of different protocols, gas fees and multiple transactions.
All rewards are sold to underlying position. The underlying LP position is staked in the Pancake/Apeswap/Biswap Staking contract. All rewards are compounded into the single asset staking feature of the Pancake/Apeswap/Biswap contract and sold to LP position after each harvest.
When interacting with the application you'll notice that the first step is depositing, this step sends your native tokens to the vault address and gives you in return the arO-version of the underlying asset, also called ar-tokens. As a vault generates profit, the amount of ar-tokens in your wallet remains constant while the underlying invested token amount in the vault increases.

Alice have 100 BANANA-BNB LP Tokens and want to accumulate those LPs. She deposit them into the Optimizer Vault BANANA-BNB. In returns, in her wallet, she receives arO-BANANA-BNB-APE-LPcorresponding to her shares in the Vault.
Keeperharvest at least every 2 hours and updates the arO-BANANA-BNB-APE-LP/BANANA-LP ratio based on the increase of the PFS (price per full share) and effectively increases everyone's deposit balance. In between harvest, every reward will be stacked into the single staking contract of each platform, to maximize rewards earned before selling them into BANANA-LP. Alice will gain slightly more than any yield aggregator.
In the end, Alice will increase her balance of BANANA-LP, earn STAR Token and BNB from the revenues.
